Hotone Vertical Flow Water Purification Tech Reaches International Leading Level
On May 19, 2026, the Science and Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organized and held a technology achievement evaluation meeting for the "Construction Technology of Vertical Flow Water Purification System" in Beijing, conducting an authoritative review of this innovative technology led and developed by HOTONE.

The evaluation committee was led by Professor Peng Yongzhen, a CAE Member from Beijing University of Technology, and gathered experts from universities, research institutes, and industry enterprises. The expert group listened to the report on achievements, reviewed technical reports, engineering cases, test data, and other materials, and after inquiry and comprehensive deliberation, recognized the achievements.

The evaluation expert committee believes that, through evaluation, the project as a whole has reached the international advanced level. Notably, the pioneering "three-dimensional fan-zone grid vertical flow wastewater treatment system" has also achieved the international advanced level and holds broad prospects for promotion and application. Therefore, the committee agrees to approve the project.
